Before I started this diet, I weighed between 128lbs and 132lbs for at least the last 5 months. I would drop a pound, feel great, then gain it back. It was very discouraging…
Day 1 – I weighed 127.8 lbs (12+ pounds over my goal weight)
Day 2 – I weighed 125.0 lbs
Day 3 – I weighed 124.2 lbs
Day 4 – I weighed 124.2 lbs
Wait, WHAT? Hold the phone…. I didn’t lose a single ounce today? What the french toast?!
I immediately tapped into my Dukan Diet Coaching Channel on Twitter for some suggestions or an explanation!
While I didn’t deviate from the diet, I may have not consumed as much water as I should have, plus it was like 100 degrees here yesterday (and today) so they suggested that I may have retained water due to the heat. Hmmm I guess so.
I’m anxious to see if there is any change tomorrow.
Every evening I fill out a “Daily Report” online on the Dukan Diet website. It asks for current weight, measurements of waist, hips and around each thigh (how mortifying!!!), as well as questions on whether or not I deviated from the diet at all. Luckily, I think I’ve been doing pretty excellent.
So, I’m off to bed and hopefully I will see some results tomorrow. Also, I will be grabbing some vegetables at the grocery store and starting the Cruise Phase of the diet. I kinda miss vegetables after 4 days of nothing but protein and low fat dairy products…

Honestly, this is one of the easiest diets I’ve ever been on. Easy, quickly effective and empowering is how I would describe this diet.
