Well I had an interesting day yesterday… I had to drop everything and run to the doctors because my leg was swollen up like the Good Year blimp and I was in so much pain I couldn’t walk!
Turns out I have a horrid case of Cellulitis. Despite it’s name, it does NOT have anything to do with cellulite… LOL
I am on bed rest, leg elevated and iced, and on antibiotics for the Cellulitis, which is essentially a disgusting skin infection, presumably from a tick bite. I’d post pictures, but I don’t want to gross anyone out….. I am in a lot of pain, despite ibuprofen, but I am just glad it wasn’t something more serious. I woke up yesterday morning in excruciating pain and thought for sure I was going to die. Really.
I went to see my fabulous and very cool doctor who assured me I won’t die though… She said she has a very strict “no dying” policy. Oh well, there goes my weekend plans……
Guess I’m not going to be doing THIS today…

I never thought that I diet would work for me. I thought there was something wrong with me. I thought I had a thyroid problem or something because every time I tried a diet, it wouldn’t work or I would lose 2 pounds and then gain 2 pounds and never really get anywhere.
In the past, the only thing that ever worked for me was exercise along side of Sensa. This is the first time I’ve been on an actual diet without hours and hours of exercise a week (which I totally don’t have time for right now) and actually lost weight. So I am over the moon! I am soooo glad I found out about this diet because it’s honestly one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I feel SO much better about myself!!!!!!

I have NOT received compensation for posting about the diet! Posting about my weight loss is entirely my choice. I am not being paid to review the Dukan Diet or to lose weight. (Unfortunately!) This is raw footage into my personal weight loss experience, I just received the books and a couple Dukan products to “review” which is helping me on my own personal journey. You know I have had cellulitis numerous times, mine is called strep cellulitis, but it’s not caused by a tick it’s caused by a small hole in your skin and we all carry the virus on our skin but most people can fight it off, I get it about 5 times a year and go for IV therapy to get rid of it I even got it after getting blood tests and the hole from the needle caused it, it hurts so bad, the first time I had it I left it because I didn’t know what it was and just about died, so I am glad you went early, I was told it can turn into flesh eating disease!! Yes the wonders of medicine! I hope your pain subsides soon, I know how painful it can be!
Oh Doris, sorry to hear that! Yes, it is extremely painful! I am glad I didn’t let it go any further than I did. I fear I might have lost my leg. It was so humbling not being able to even walk for 5 days. I’ve never experienced such pain! It felt like the skin was just going to explode… Horrid!!! I’m sorry you get it so often. Isn’t there anything they can do for you to prevent it?
