Romantic, exotic, glamorous or abstract: this spring’s floral patterns provide an injection of creativity and a love of fashion into your wardrobe. The floral looks are inspired by chlorophyll-green gardens, sundrenched landscapes and even 70s hippie chic flower-power. The romantic garden collection is made using organic and recycled materials. All the garments have been produced using sustainable materials or using recycled PET bottles or textile waste.

The collection includes a feminine chiffon dress made from recycled polyester with a colorful garden print, a pinafore dress in organic cotton with romantic roses and a smock dress in organic cotton with an ethnic floral pattern. An organic cotton top in a small floral design or a frilly chiffon top made from recycled polyester can be combined with cropped trousers or shorts in organic cotton and/or linen. The new feminine, yet understated collection was driven forward by Artistic Director Hannah MacGibbon and created by a trio of female perfumers, Domitille Bertier (IFF), Aliénor Massenet (IFF) and Louise Turner (Givaudan). Inspired by memories of fantasized nature, the Chloé eau de fleurs collection pays homage to three essences: lavender, nasturtium and neroli.
Housed in luxurious glass bottles with minimal lines and a metal cube stopper, this iconic bottle expresses the Chloé values: simplicity and sophistication, authentic luxury and timeless elegance.

I got to try out Chloé eau de fleurs Lavande from the new collection and I am absolutely in love. It’s light, feminine and the essence of a warm Spring day. I don’t know how they managed to capture this heavenly scent into a bottle, but it’s absolutely amazing.
The only unfortunate things about this particular scent is:
1. The price.
2. It’s only available from Saks and Chloe boutiques.
Other than that, it’s a perfect dream. If you have a Saks near you, I highly suggest you drop in just to spritz yourself with this at least once. You’ll find it hard not to come home with a bottle of it, I guarantee it!
Hair accessories are getting more and more popular each season. For Spring and Summer 2010, stock up on head bands, bows and trendy hair clips. Accessories like this are great to add to any of the popular hairstyles for this season or to help tie back your hair on those bad hair days.
