We are super excited to announce that Intel has invited us to cover the International CES in Las Vegas this year!
For those of you who are not familiar with technology shows, it’s the International Consumer Electronics Show, and is one of the largest electronics shows in the world. It’s a trades show that all the major players in the consumer electronics field attend, to show off their newest cutting edge gadgets. In fact many new gadgets and electronics have been introduced at the CES. Things like blu-ray, CD’s, and even the Xbox all made their debut at the CES show. The show is not open to public, so only professionals in the field of electronics and journalists get to attend, which makes this a real treat and an honor to be able to attend as a journalist blogger!
I will be posting LIVE from the CES event in Las Vegas this coming week between January 6th & 9th. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled!!!
A special thanks to Intel for inviting us to join as a member of the Tablet Crew. They actually sent us one of the new Intel Tablets to review back in September. The Acer Iconia Tab 8 running Android KitKat 4.4.
We have found this to be quite the snappy little device because of it’s powerful processor – Intel Atom Z3745. For those who don’t know what that means; it’s “brain” is powered by the “processor”. The processor in this tablet is as powerful as one you would find in a desktop or laptop computer. Most tablets and phones today are not equipped with such a powerful processor. This tablet offers a lot more “bang” for your buck then the simplified processors you find in most devices. It’s sleek design, quality camera and long batter life make this a tablet that we highly recommend!
I just got a Slim Cover with Hand Strap for Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 on Amazon for $13 and I really like it! If you have a Tab 8, I recommend this case. It comes in a few different colors and for the price, you can’t go wrong.
