Holiday Decor For Your Home
Everyone has their own holiday style. It can be influenced by your personal home style or a style of holiday decor that you grew up with. I personally fell in love with a ton of items in the Holiday Metallics collection because I could see that the items would fit well into my modern living room.
Last week I showed you how I styled several pieces on one side of my living room, including two throw pillows, Merry ($24.99) & Noel ($24.99), as well as a gorgeous Threshold Silver Foil Throw Blanket ($19.99) too.
Silver candle holder ($3.99), Threshold Mirrored Rectangular Tray ($39.99),
Mercury Glass Tree ($14.99), Threshold Silver Resin Deer ($14.99)
These stunning pieces can easily be placed anywhere in my living room. From the white Threshold™ Carson Horizontal Bookcase under my TV to the built-in seating area on the other side of my living room, these versatile items can be mixed and matched to create a different look anywhere I choose to put them.
I moved the pillows to the opposite side of my living room to my built-in seating area to cozy up the space, and also relocated the mirrored rectangular tray with the silver deer, mercury tree and silver candleholder to my orange storage ottoman.
I know it won’t suit everyone’s taste, but I absolutely love my white artificial Christmas tree. It goes so well with my white furniture and metallic accents throughout the room, as well as the orange and turquoise ornaments.
To mix things up a bit, I can use the mirrored rectangular tray as a remote control holder on my white Threshold™ Carson Horizontal Bookcase under my TV, while utilizing the silver deer and silver candleholder as an accent to compliment my silver framed mirror.
You might be surprised by how many different places you can use holiday décor items like this. Be creative and don’t hold back. You will be amazed at how many different looks you can create in your home just by mixing and matching pieces. The key is to purchase items that look good all together. From there, you can spread them around your house to give it a uniform look or mix and match them with other pieces for even more fun. Best of all, you can find new, inventive ways to use your holiday décor items from Thanksgiving right through to New Year’s Day. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
