Kohl’s Yes2You Rewards Program
I signed up last week and headed to my local Kohl’s store in Nashua, NH to earn some points!
As soon as I walked in I saw the Elie Tahari for DesigNation display with the awesome ombre tunic and taxi shirt from the commercial. You will fall in love! If you haven’t been to Kohl’s lately, do yourself a favor and GO because the Fall 2014 offerings in store are the best I’ve ever seen.
Want to know a secret? I don’t always find things I want at Kohl’s. *gasp* No, really! You can go in there one day and find nothing and then go in a month later and want to buy the store out. The inventory is always changing so don’t ever be discouraged if you don’t find “love”. Wait a few weeks or a month, head back into the store and you will find a whole new selection that will send you into a euphoria!
That’s what I found when I went into Kohl’s last week… I wanted to buy a MILLION THINGS! The Elie Tahari collection had me reeling, but I convinced myself that I should only buy things that were practical for my life right now which happens to be workout and yoga wear. Getting back into shape after having a baby is my first priority!
The Tek Gear shapewear workout pants were originally $44, but I got them on sale for $29.99. The juniors tie dye top was originally $28, but I got it on sale for $21.99. The gray basic layering cami was originally $18.00, but I got it on sale for $7.99. The dark gray striped turtleneck was originally $20.00, but I got it on sale for $14.99. (I bought my mom the same striped turtleneck for $14.99 too.) And my favorite item of all… The Vera Wang heather grey workout top that was originally $50, but I got it on sale for $35.00. Normally i wouldn’t spend that much on ONE top but I really, really liked it and couldn’t go home without it. Last but not pictured, I bought a cute coffee mug as a Christmas present for a friend for $1.99!
My total came to $126.94. I used my Kohl’s charge card and coupon to get an additional 20% off my order which saved me over $25 and brought my total down to $101.55. I then earned $20 of Kohl’s cash to spend between now and Oct 13th.
I also earned 102 points by using Yes2You rewards program! (Plus I got 100 points with my first purchase as a Yes2You Rewards Member!)

Side Note Rant: You also get 15% off your purchase for signing up for Yes2You Rewards Program but the woman at the checkout told me that I couldn’t use it on top of my 20% off coupon, even though the register accepted the coupon and my total would have been $86.31. She ended up canceling my entire order, rescanning everything and telling me to come back and use the coupon next week with my Kohls Cash. Harumph! I can’t see anywhere on my printed 15% off coupon that says it can not be stacked with other coupons on top of which the register DID accept the coupon. So I am unsure about the “legalities” of that and it might highly depend on who you get at the checkout, as with most stores.
