I am enjoying the Ruutu Sateenkaari Cotton/Wool Wrap in violet (pictured above). It’s a soft, fluffy, cushy wrap made up with 50% organic cotton and 50% merino wool. I’m using a size 4 which is approx 165 inches. This is an appropriate size for me to do most carries and have a 1′-2′ tail on each side to tie off. (I am 5’2″ and around 130lbs atm so you may need a longer size if you are significantly larger than me or doing complex carries that require long wraps.)
I love this wrap because it’s super soft and cushy. Very comfortable for us to wear for long periods of time (like nap time!) I don’t overheat while wearing it yet it’s warm enough to keep us toasty on a cold day. The quality is exceptional! I like this one because it conforms to the body well and requires minimal adjusting.
Vanamo wraps are Finnish design and made at a small weaving mill in Finland. They are high quality woven wraps, made with organic cotton (GOTS), European linen and soft merino wool. Each weaving pattern is carefully designed and are produced in small scale because a lot of hand work is required to finish each wrap.
I think this Vanamo wrap is a wonderful woven wrap because it’s supportive, comfortable and of course fashionable, too!
