Keeping fit has so many benefits.
You’ll feel healthier, and you’ll have more vitality which will spill out into other areas of your life. You’ll meet new people and help each other to see better results. And, most importantly, you’ll enjoy yourself.
If you’re looking for ways to boost the enjoyment (and results!) of your workouts, then look no further.
Here are five of our favorite fitness routine enhancements.
Drink Smoothies
We’ll start with something simple and delicious. Blitzing up a banana, a handful of oats, and a splash of apple juice is a healthy and filling way to start the day.
This snack won’t sit heavy on your stomach, but it will give you the energy you need to workout. And what’s more, the range of recipes is endless.
Looking for something sweeter? Add a dash of honey. Looking for a guilty pleasure? Add a dollop of ice cream and switch out the apple juice for milk. Looking for something unusual but delicious? Try avocado, coconut milk, spinach, and apple juice for a silky-smooth delight.
The routine of making a smoothie in the morning is a great start to your day, and seeing the ingredients you’ll be drinking primes the mind to think healthy!
Bring a friend
Working out is so much better when shared with a friend.
One of the most difficult things about working out is keeping motivation high. It’s so easy to talk ourselves out of a workout, or to convince ourselves to finish early today.
With someone else keeping you company, these attempts are much less likely to succeed. By agreeing to keep each other going when the temptation is to stop, you both benefit from a better workout.
Not only will you encourage each other through the tough bits, but the easier bits are a great opportunity to catch up on the gossip.
Commit to something BIG
Without a firm goal in mind, keeping yourself motivated can be difficult.
If you’ve been working out a lot, why not make the commitment to participate in your first official event? It doesn’t have to be a marathon: even a 5k on the calendar can be a great motivator.
Focussing your training on a tangible goal is a good way to make sure you’re working hard enough, too. If you know you’ve got something big coming up, you’re less likely to get complacent.
Holding yourself publicly accountable will help reduce complacency as well: tell your friends and family about the event you’ve signed up for, then you can look forward to their congratulations as you cross the finish line.
Get Outdoors
Gyms are great, but there’s one thing they can’t provide: a big, healthy lung-full of fresh air.
If you spend a lot of time working out at home or at the gym, throw a couple of outdoor workouts into the mix. This could be a run outside instead of on the treadmill, a yoga routine in the garden, or even a visit to an outdoor gym: most cities have made these available in public parks.
You’ll notice the benefits immediately. Fresh air is invigorating and energizing, and mixing up your workout venues will make it easier to stay focused.
Top up your results with a weight loss supplement
Whoa now!
If the word “supplement” puts you off, hear us out.
The idea isn’t to take a magic pill that helps you lose weight: these don’t exist. Instead, a supplement does just that – supplements your existing weight loss routine.
One such product – Leanbean, the female fat burner – is designed with 100% natural ingredients that are clinically proven to work.
Leanbean includes 3 grams of glucomannan per day, the amount approved by European health authorities for weight loss.
If you’re leading a lifestyle that leads to weight loss, a supplement can be a great way to boost the results you’re already seeing.
And there you have it.
