So I wonder to myself…. Can I drink too much water??? I had 2.5 quarts yesterday on a PP day and I’m still 124 lbs, although I don’t feel bloated… Yet… My period is due on Friday. (Sorry for the TMI ladies!) I usually gain 3-5 pounds the week leading up to my period. Perhaps that’s why I am not seeing a loss on the scales this week, although I feel fine and LOVE that I went down a pant size!!! WOOOT!
My new habit is to drink an 16.9 oz bottle of Poland Springs water whenever I am tempted by the things that other people around me are eating…
I am really missing pancakes, cereal, rice, popcorn, pizza and my fav…. NACHOS. And God help me, do I ever miss cheese……….. My will power is strong though and I am not even taking a TASTE of things I used to eat… I don’t even want to remember what they taste like right now… Seems like everyone around me keeps saying “Oh you can have ONE bite, it’s not going to kill you!” and it’s definitely testing my self control and patience. “Get behind me Satan!” LOL
I will try to do some recipes from the this weekend… Last night I made the Dukan Chocolate Oat Bran Cookie… And oh boy did that suck. Was not crispy…was not gooey… was like chocolate flavored beef jerky in consistency… I had to drink TWO bottles of water after that… LOL Hmm… maybe I did it wrong…
I am doing the 1/1 rhythm as suggested by my Dukan Diet coach (Who is SUPER helpful; I love him!).

I did some jogging during my 20 minute walk. I feel accomplished…. Although I’m wondering if I can do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred or if that would be too much of a workout for my body at this stage of the diet? I don’t have a ton of energy at the moment but am kinda frustrated by this plateau that I’ve hit this week.

Kinda wishing I had gotten down to 120 lbs before I hit a plateau… I would feel a lot better about that I think! I’m still going to keep going though and hope for the best. I’m not about to give up now!

Even if you are thinking, “Oh my GOSH, not another diet!” I urge you to give this a shot… I’ve been in the same boat as you… I’ve tried a dozen different diets including juice fasts, vegetarian, raw food diets, no carb diets and more. I used Sensa and lost over 20 pounds (But it was a SLOW process; 6-8 months!)
The Dukan Diet book is so cheap, you’ve got nothing to lose. And I know if you read it, you’ll want to try this diet.
