I purchased the Bass El Paso in Cinnamon Rust Suede when I saw them on sale for only $19.95 at 6pm.com. They were having a sale on all Bass shoes for like 2 days and almost all styles were only $19.95 for those 2 days. They looked comfy and great to wear with jeans, so I bought them. I mean, you can’t beat a sale like that!
They retail for $65, yet are still on sale at 6pm.com for only $30. 6pm.com frequently has 1 days sales of popular brands like Bass and you can get them for even less, so check their site often! Just last week, I chose them as the Deal of The Day because they had another one of those 1 days sales and this time they were $21.95 for 1 day!!!
They have a soft suede upper with tassel accents and contrast stitching. The website says that the footbed is “lightly padded” but compared to Payless shoes, I would say these are pretty heavily padded. I would only say they are lightly padded in comparison to Softspots which have a plush memory foam pillowtop footbed.
I love the textured outsole because they look like they will be great on icy ground. They have a 2 1/4″ heel, but despite of the size of the wedge, these shoes are surprisingly lightweight. I’ve only worn them once so far, and I chose to wear them with jeans. Since I am petite and most of my jeans are not, I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes with a high enough heel so that my pants don’t drag on the ground. (Yes, I am too lazy to hem my pants!) These work out great because they are comfortable and great with all my jeans that are too long to wear with flats.
If you are looking for a cute, everyday shoe to wear with jeans with Fall, consider getting the Bass El Paso. I got mine in Cinnamon Rust Suede, but they also come in Black, Cocoa Brown and Tobacco Green. I’m considering getting another pair in Tobacco because it’s such a pretty color…
What do you think of these shoes? Would you wear them?
