Month 5 Of My Weight Loss Journey
I started Month 5 of the Sensa Weight Loss Program on March 1st, weighing in at 119lbs.
No, I did not meet my goal weight of 115lbs like I had hoped. It seems like my body has been fighting me every step of the way. I get a little discouraged sometimes because it seems like I should have lost more weight by now… All the exercise, the Sensa, not eating practically anything I really want to eat… (Hello, pizza?)
I’m not giving up though. I mean, in all practicality, I could be totally comfortable at 119lbs-122lbs. I look pretty good, I feel good and most of my pre pregnancy clothes fit. However, I think I’ll feel a lot better about myself if I can meet my goal and finally get back to my regular size.
I am still doing 1 hour a day of Total Body Sculpt with Gilad Janklowicz (via FitTV) I love Gilad… he’s an Israeli stud-muffin that makes you do more than you think you can. When your muscles start burning and you want to give up, he makes you do those last 2 reps.
I’ll be the first to admit that I hate workout shows. Another program on FitTV is All Star Workouts. I hate that show… I can’t stand any of the 12 different trainers they have on that stupid show! They are so fake and patronizing… Ugh. That’s why I love Gilda. He’s not at all fake or patronizing. He’s motivating, inspiring, not at all patronizing, and yet he’s encouraging. I just love exercising now.
Before I started exercising, my measurements were 34-28-39. After 7 weeks of exercising with Gilad (and losing 6 pounds) my measurements are 34-26-36. Apparently, ideal measurements are 36-26-36, but I’m sure that’s for a woman of average height, not for short, petite women like me…
Here is my updated weight loss chart:

I’m going on Vacation March 20th, so I’m hoping to lose a couple pounds before I go. Last time I went on vacation, I gained 8 pounds! I can’t let that happen this time… I’m taking Sensa with me!

Congrats on your progress with your weight loss. I’ve have been pretty successful in my journey with three basic components:
30 minutes on treadmill a day, with progressive effort (now at 450 calories per readout for routine)
1800 to 1900 calories a day. Not any particular balance of protein/carbs/fats.
84 oz water + sea salt a day.
42 y/o male – 6’0″ tall
Starting weight: 218lbs on December 27th 2008
As of this morning (12 weeks) 186 (that’s 32 pounds)
Now I know men can lose weight easier, but I really think the water part has stop any hunger cravings. I have eliminate fried foods and Pepsi. Absolutely no caffeine in my diet – unless it hides in small amount in the chocolate fiber bars that I eat.
If you google “water cure” you can learn more about water consumption – and it has convinced me that it’s water intake and avoiding caffeine is critical to healthly living. Best of luck!

Hi Brody,
No unfortunately I do not get a percentage of the sales. I am telling people about Sensa because it’s what I am using and it works for me.
Thanks for the tip on where to get it cheaper!
36-26-36 or 34-26-36 are ideal measurement for women of any height, especially short petite women. Never hear the song, ’36-24-36….yeah only if she is 5ft3′.
Dont’ worry about the weight just focus on how you look and maybe get a body composition test because I’m around your size and am very in shape. If you have good muscle mass it doesn’t matter what size or weight you are, you are going to look good period.
