A few months back, I received the gorgeous Linea Pelle Vanessa Large Hobo to review here on The Fashionable Housewife.

I’ve never been more excited to receive a handbag in the mail. I don’t claim to be a handbag connoisseur by any means, but I do know a thing or two about leather and good quality handbags. This handbag is undeniably the most gorgeous and high quality bag I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning.

Fresh out of the bag, that new leather smell was enough to send me to the moon. There is nothing better than the smell of new leather, except feeling the supple, buttery soft leather on your fingertips and seeing the Linea Pelle label on the inside of lining…

I’m lucky enough to have already gotten a couple of Linea Pelle bags on sale on sample sale sites, so I already knew they were exceptional handbags.

This bag has the perfect slouch and the braided handle adds interest without being over the top. The fringe hangs gently on each side of the bag and is minimal so it looks stylish instead of cowgirl-ish. It’s just a big, slouchy hobo that will go with everything in your wardrobe.

If you’re looking for another reason to get this bag, well… it’s famous! Riley Richmond on Melrose Place was spotted carrying this same bag in Pewter.
