I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies Little Snugglers. I received product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
When you become a mom for the first time, it’s almost a novelty to buy stuff like baby shampoo, baby powder, baby food and diapers. You see all the commercials while you are pregnant and some of them even make you cry (Thank you pregnancy hormones and clever marketing techniques!) and they make you feel like you need their products to become a real mom.
When my daughter was born, we Pampers and LUVS on hand, which I quickly learned to hate with a vengeance after about 2 weeks of every single poopy diaper requiring not only an outfit change but a bath too. I felt like I was doing something wrong to be stricken with this kind of mess several times a day! On top of which I had an extremely “colicky” and fussy baby that wouldn’t nurse well and couldn’t be pacified. I’m sure the baths and outfit changes every few hours didn’t help. On top of that I had really bad Post Partum Depression. I feel like I really had a hard time becoming a mom the first time around!
Luckily, I started feeling better by the time my daughter was about 4 months old. Also right around this time, my sister in law gave me a few of her Huggies diapers to try. She insisting they were the best (She already had 3 kids by the time I had my first baby!) so I was intrigued enough to give them a try. Well… I’m not even kidding around, that was pretty much the BEST unsolicited “parenting advice” I have ever received. Huggies literally changed my life. I never again had to get a new outfit and give my daughter a bath at every diaper change. I wanted to punch every mom that had told me to buy Pampers and LUVS. Was it a cruel joke they had played on me?!
Fast forward 7 years and I’m on my third baby and the ONLY disposable diapers I will use are Huggies. Period. You will never find any other brand of disposables in my house, in my diaper bag or on my baby.
I love Huggies so much that I have given a package of Huggies Newborn Diapers to every mom-to-be as a baby shower present, regardless of whether or not they put it on their Target Baby Registry. Once you know that Huggies are the best, you just want to spread the love!
If you haven’t tried Huggies yet, You’re going to be excited about this…

All you have to do is create a Target registry and put Huggies Little Snugglers and Natural Care Wipes in it. Then upload the link on the Huggies Register Your Wish website and you will automatically be entered for a chance to win a years supply of free diapers from Huggies!
I also recommend adding the following to your registry: Nosefrida, a baby brush and coconut oil to prevent cradle cap, baby nail clippers and a Bravado Body Silk Nursing Bra.
I always bring a few Huggies Little Snugglers in my diaper bag when I leave the house. They fit my chunky little man really well, even with his triple-roll thunder thighs. The absorbency is, of course, excellent. Best of all, they contain even the biggest messes and prevent the big blowouts which every mom dreads when she’s out doing errands.
Huggies knows your new little babyโs skin is sensitive! It can be difficult to find the right balance between protection and protecting that delicate skin. The Huggies Little Snugglers diapers feature a nifty, new GentleAbsorb Liner for a cushiony layer of protection all while drawing the mess away from your babyโs skin to avoid diaper rash.
I like to pick up Huggies at Target because first off, I love ANY excuse to go into Target. (Can I hear an Amen?!) Secondly, I find it a lot easier to navigate to the diaper isle in Target than in most other stores.
