Whether you suffer from acne and blemishes; want to minimize the signs of aging; have super sensitive skin or something else entirely, these are some of the top products for EVERY skin woe – and every budget! Check out the list and find your skin complaint; one of these products just might do the trick for you.
Acne
I’m a huge fan of Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask ($7.99.) Not only can it be used as a daily cleanser, but also as an intense deep cleaning mask that helps flush out impurities and leave you with clear, beautiful skin.
For spot treatments, nothing (and I mean NOTHING) has worked better for me than Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil ($8.49, pictured.) If you’ve never used tea tree oil before, be aware that it has a very strong medicinal smell, so I recommend using it at night. Honestly, tea tree oil works better at clearing up my skin than any other topical acne cream, lotion or gel I’ve tried.
Aging
Fans of Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum ($17.50) swear that it helps improve the appearance and texture of aging skin while helping to even skin tone and even minimize fine lines. There’s also a fragrance free
version for women who don’t like the perfumed scent of the original. Plus it helps moisturizer and makeup go on smoothly!
To target the area around your eyes, use the serum in conjunction with Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum ($17.99, pictured.) Devotees rave about this cream and say that it really helps minimize lines and wrinkles, and even works to tighten and firm the eye area and reduce dark circles.
Redness/Rosacea
As someone who suffers from facial redness myself, I can honestly say I swear by Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser ($7.03.) This gentle cleanser works to calm red, irritated skin with Licocalthone, a naturally derived extract from the licorice root that minimized redness without drying skin. It’s strong enough to take off even the heaviest makeup, but won’t hurt your skin!
Used in combination with Clinique Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream ($40, pictured,) even those who suffer from rosacea will find relief. This oil-free moisturizer is very, very gentle and can even help prevent future flare ups from occurring.
Sensitivity
I was a little hesitant to use Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream ($13.99) on my face at first because it feels and looks very thick and heavy, but I was amazed how quickly it absorbed into my skin! I am very wary about trying new products because I don’t know if my face will have a bad reaction, but Vanicream really works. It kept my face moisturized and helped relieve the chronic dryness I was experiencing.
For a budget cleanser, I was very impressed with Eucerin Sensitive Skin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser ($5.99, pictured.) Too many products say they are for sensitive skin but cause a reaction anyway; Eucerin’s gentle cleanser doesn’t! I still get the deep clean I need without irritation or dryness that so many other cleansers cause, so it’s definitely an A+ in my book.
Whatever skin woe you’re experiencing, one of these products can help you obtain the complexion you’ve always wanted. If you give any of these a try (or currently use them,) please let me know what you think!
