The must-have for spring is pink lips! There are so many different brands offering great colors this year. We recommend MAC Fafi “Fun ‘N’ Sexy” lipstick. It’s sold out online, but you can find it in stores and on eBay.
I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I’m kinda a mascara expert. It’s the one thing I won’t leave the house without, so I’ve spent many years trying different mascaras, looking for the absolute best one.
My personal favorite is Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara in “Black”. It has that new rubber brush design that applies the mascara evenly without clumping.
I also just discovered Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara in “Black”. This one also has a rubber brush, but it’s much fatter. I find that it takes a little more finesse to apply, but produces an even less clumpy lash than Max Factor.
This is my favorite eye liner in the world. Maybelline Unstoppable Eye Liner in “Pewter” works so well, stays on for a long time, and isn’t that expensive. This waterproof liner glides on to define your eyes effortlessly for ultra-smooth application. And it’s smudge-proof, stay-put formula won’t budge until you want it to!
Pretty iridescent eye shadow lends the perfect sparkle to your daily makeup routine. It’s the best basic you can have, and this one from Shiseido is great. Purple is one of the must-have eyeshadow colors for spring.
This intense and lustrous, dewy cream eyeshadow transforms into powder that creates a glaze of brilliant, shimmery color. Crease-resistant. Long-wearing. Color looks brilliant alone or in combination. Color “H6 Violet Visions”.
The secret to staying fashionable is a flawless complexion, but most of us have less than perfect skin. Most foundation makeup isn’t the right shade and doesn’t blend well, which many times leaves us wishing we could was our face and start over. Luckily, all foundation isn’t bad.
Covergirl TRUblend Liquid Makeup is finally here and what an amazing thing it is! It is the first makeup I’ve ever worn that doesn’t clog my pores and cause a breakout the next day, blends into my skin absolutely flawlessly, AND has amazing, natural looking coverage. I’m totally sold on this one! (I wear shade #3)
Flushed cheeks are a must and pink is the way to go. Try blushes in soft pink and bright pink this spring.
Nars perfect blush is made with transparent pigments for a soft and sheer look. Imparts a natural, healthy glow for any skin tone and may be worn alone or layered together for more depth and intensity.
Most women already have a makeup bag, so this one is kinda a “no-brainer”. I am not picky about my makeup bag and I’ve never actually purchased one. Most of mine were either gifts or free with a makeup purchase.
If you are looking to get a cute makeup bag that you don’t mind toting around with you in public, check out this cute Pink from Victoria’s Secret makeup bag.
Cool shades are a must for spring. With all the new shapes and styles, shopping for sunglasses is going to be easy this year.
Yes, these are going to be big this spring! Bold, chunky, and eye catching, cocktail rings come in all shapes and colors. Bright, bold accessories are huge this season so look for over-the-top, show stopping rings like this fabulous Sterling Silver Fancy Yellow CZ Cocktail Ring from Overstock.com.
Pink lip gloss is a definite must for spring and summer 2008. My recommendation is “Cult Fave” lip gloss from the MAC Fafi Makeup Collection. Very feminine and sexy!
This particular lip gloss is so smooth and creamy, and surprisingly lasts for a long time. It looks so luminous and glassy on lips. Perfect for getting attention!
