The Return of the Simple Black Heel

Well I guess some could argue that it never went away but the simple black heel is something that EVERY woman should have in their closet. Just recently, my classic black heels bit the dust… I am talkin’ no cobbler or shoe fixer could do anything to bring them back to life, soooooooo I was on the hunt for a pair of simple black heels, perfect for work and play alike and would be entirely versatile.

If I were to splurge (and I mean bigtime splurge)? My choices would most definitely be for the designer duds below.

  1. I don’t like the black shoes. Now is the summer season in particular, should now be wearing the bright colorful clothes and shoes, which is now the fashion trend.

  2. I don’t call these simple black heels. These are trendy and will go out of date quickly. Most of these aren’t even flattering to the leg or foot. I know the fall the fashion is here. But I’m not ready for it either. These are also back killers. Anyone with a bad back? These are not the shoes for you.

  3. Wow, not what I expected when I read “simple black heel”, haha…For the splurge I love #1 (I actually have a pair like them that were a steal) and under your steals I like #5 with a much lower heel.

  4. #1 and #3 – Love the simple elegance of the first and the style of the third (see my December post about Jessica Simpson footwear!)

  5. While I agree that maybe we shouldn’t have used the word “simple” I do still feel there is a simplicity to each one of these styles. We tried to incorporate styles that we could see being really versatile in any woman’s wardrobe. Also, we love shoes and we are not ashamed to tell you guys about it!
