Luckily, I had a secret weapon on hand and ready for action – Foot Petals!
There was more than just one thing wrong with these hot shoes, so I had to break out the big guns and do some serious work on them to make them wearable.
First, I applied Foot Petals Killer Kushionz in Limited Edition Print “Pink Floral”. (If you click on that link to purchase them, please note the picture for the pink floral ones is not correct!)
Peel and stick insoles to CLEAN shoes and voila! You suddenly have comfortable shoes! They come in a variety of different colors including, but not limited to black, beige, pink, blue, lavender, and grey as well as prints like denim floral and white lily with black dots.
PRICE: $12-15 per pair or $35 for a 3 pack
That wasn’t the only problem though! The genius that designed these shoes thought it would be super awesome to make the outer soles out of slippery velvet like material so that the wearer could learn how to fly. An added bonus!
Enter Foot Petals Sole Stopperz. These little nifty things are a LIFE SAVER. Literally. Just apply these little grippers to the bottom of your slippery shoes and you are good to go. The super sticky backing keeps them stuck for life to the bottom of soles. (Make sure they are clean before you apply! Works best on NEW shoes!)
There they are, neatly applied to the bottom of my new shoes. I would still like to strangle whoever designed these shoes with such incredibly slippery soles, but at least I had my Foot Petals Sole Stopperz Non-slip Shoe Pads to save the day!
“Surely, your shoes must be comfy now, right?” you ask. “WRONG CUPCAKE!”
As soon as I wore them around the house a few minutes, I could tell there was going to be another problem with these bad boys… My big toe was going to get a blister from the rough edge at the end of the peep toe. So I got the bright idea to try putting Foot Petals Strappy Strips just under the edge of the peep toe to keep it from wearing a hole into my poor toe.
There! That’s more like it… NOW they are comfy! I just used the Foot Petals Strappy Strips and cut them to size to fit right under the edge of the peep toe and now they don’t rub on my toes when I walk.
For under $27, I was able to make these shoes go from unwearable to almost as comfortable as my expensive shoes. With Foot Petals, you can literally make almost any pair of shoes comfortable.
