Here are a few home management hacks that will help you maintain your house with all the health and hygiene standards without compromising your time in other areas of your life.
Shower Head Cleaning Hack
When you purchased the shower head, you must have noticed how spotless and shiny it was. Over a period, as you use the shower, it does not remain the same. Mineral deposits, limescale, and even molds can build up inside the showerhead, making it not only ugly but also unhealthy for your household to use it. It is essential to clean the showerhead and remove all the dirt and contamination. However, it seems to be one of the most daunting tasks. ย
To clean your shower head and getting rid of all the filth quickly and efficiently, all you need is a plastic sandwich bag or a zipper bag, a hair tie or a flexible bag, and some white vinegar. Fill the container with white vinegar and submerge the showerhead in the bowl. Now close the mouth of the bag and tie it around the shaft of the shower using an elastic band. Leave it overnight and then take out after 12 hours. Let the hot water run through your bath for a minute, and you will be amazed at the results.
Carpet Dents
We cannot live without vacuum cleaners especially when we have carpeted floors. However, those ugly lines on the carpeting after a vacuum session becomes an eyesore. To fix these dents dot the dent lines with ice cubes. As the ice cubes will melt, the water will make the fiber to rise. Just run another quick vacuum round over the specific spot, and the carpet will be back to its normal condition. This works great for the dents that chair and table legs make in the carpet as well.
Finding Tiny Parts
You have young kids in the house that overturn all your stuff, or you merely lost an earring because you were too occupied to manage everything. If you have a tiny part or a piece of jewelry that you dropped on the carpet, you can find it by running a vacuum cleaner over the area. The vacuum cleaner will suck in the lost object, and you can extract it from the vacuum bag. Obviously, this does not work with large objects but for small things like legos, earrings, a screw from your glasses, etc, this is a great option!
