Have you checked out the Old Navy Booty Reader, which is designed to help you pick the perfect pair of jeans?
When you visit this microsite, the oh-so-mysterious Madame Eva speaks to you in a spooky voice, demanding that your booty be read. You have the opportunity to upload a picture of your actual booty, use a webcam to take a picture, or select a stand-in booty from a variety of shapes and sizes. (Or, like this funny Washington Post article, you can read the booty of your favorite celeb instead.) Once you’ve done this, Madame Eva suggests jeans for you.
Now, who knows if this actually works. Jeans are particularly difficult to buy online, so there’s just no telling. But it is very entertaining, and an ego boost to boot. Madame Eva keeps saying things like, “A fine shape indeed,” and using adjectives like “voluptuous” and “enviable.” So that’s gotta be good, right?
If you are bored today, I suggest you give it a whirl. Worst case scenario– you’ll waste a few minutes and it will make you giggle. And if you’re super lucky, you might stumble on a pair of jeans that really works out for you. If nothing else, it’s a great reminder of the large variety of styles Old Navy offers– many starting at under $20.
