Listen up, ladies – a new fashion reality show will be coming to VH1 in 2012. Entitled House of Consignment, this 10 episode, half-hour reality series will feature Chicago entrepreneur and fashionista Corri McFadden and her team striving to “change the way women shop.”
The show will follow McFadden and her store, eDrop-Off, a consignment store that takes in thousands of dollars of luxury items from brands such as Hermes, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. Consignment clients drops their couture clothing off at McFadden’s store where it is then cataloged and photographed for eBay auction. Each item only stays online for seven days, which gives the consignment client a nice chunk ofย change for their designer duds and shoppers a huge bang for their buck.
House of Consignment will not only chronicle the success of McFadden’s store, but also follow her and her team on house calls for their “Closet Cleanout” option. Fashion pros will enter the homes and closets of some of McFadden’s wealthiest clients and advise them what to wear, what to keep, and what to toss out – as well as the items they can sell for a pretty penny on consignment. This segment of the reality show will provide plenty of fashion tips and advice to viewers as McFadden digs through the closets of some of her most exclusive clients.
Don’t miss House of Consignment on VH1, debuting January 2012.
