Now, I realize being a woman, I can’t be an expert on men’s underwear, but with the help of my husband I was able to find the most comfortable men’s underwear on the planet.
First off, Jockey just launched a new collection called “Sport Performance” – a new category for the company dedicated to performance wear.
Paula Barnes, vice president of menโs merchandising for the company, said:
โThe Jockey Sport Performance platform as a whole is geared to meet the expectations of an athletic man, someone who is aware of the functional qualities of performance apparel and who is willing to pay a bit of a premium for the products.โ
The new line launched in Spring 2010 and is available at retailers such as Kohlโs, Macyโs and JCPenney. Jockey Sport Performance Stretch will be hitting stores on September 25th 2010. Both run in sizes M through XL.
Don’t be bummed out about the lack of size Small in the new line. My husband is a lean, mean muscle machine and usually wears size small, but Jockey’s mediums fit him just fine.
Jockey Sport Performance Support consists of six total styles including a low-rise brief, trunk, boxer brief, and midway, as well as a T-shirt and muscle tee. Bottoms come 2 to a pack and retail for $19.50. Tops retail for $19.50 per item.
Let me introduce you to Jockey Sport Performance Boxer Brief…

Jockey sent a pair of these new briefs for my husband to try out and he liked them so much, I knew I had to tell you about them.
Being a woman, all I can really comment on is the obviously appealing look of the briefs as well as high quality. After several dozen times through the wash machine, these briefs still look great. No piling, no snags, no sign of wear whatsoever. I’m really impressed.
My husband said that they were in fact the most comfortable briefs he’s ever owned. Besides the flattering fit, these also feature moisture wicking fabric that dries quickly and is blended with spandex for extra support.
The unique H shaped fly is not only more convenient, but more comfortable and visually appealing. “Why didn’t they think of this sooner?” said my husband.
You can purchase them online at Jockey.com for $19.50 for a 2 pack.
