My daughter has fine, thin, naturally curly hair that tangles up just minutes after brushing it usually. She complains heavily about her hair being brushed and avoids it like the plague! That is, until we got this brush. I think the novelty of turning it on delighted her, but it takes at least 50% less time to brush her hair because it gets the tangles out fast and without pain. She asks for me to brush her hair with this hair brush because she loves it. I can definitely see it makes her hair shinier too and much less frizzy.
I read some reviews of this brush on other sites and I must say that yes, it does emit a weird smell when you are using it, but if you have ever owned an ionizer, you will be familiar with that weird odor. Not a deal breaker for me. Just lets me know right out of the gate that this product isn’t a total farce, which was my first inkling when I heard about it. It’s definitely not a farce! While I wouldn’t normally suggest someone buy a hair brush for $70, if you have a problem with more tangles than normal or lots of static, then this might be worth a shot for you.
