I didn’t shave ALL SUMMER LONG ladies! No it was not some crazy hippie experiment, I was reviewing a new products – Philips Satin Perfect Epilator!

(Retails for $149.99)
Designed with a wide head, pivoting cap and uniquely textured ceramic discs, this epilator removes even the finest hair with a more-than-gentle touch that follows your every contour and curve, plus the vibrate and hair-lift system catches flat-lying hairs, while also stimulating the skin. Also including a shaver head, illuminated tweezer, trimming comb and more, this set takes care of hair from head to toe.
It’s super easy to use. You just slowly drive the device up your leg, from ankle to knee, in a systematic pattern. It effectively remove hair from the root. It takes me around 40 minutes to do both legs from ankle to bikini line and leaves my legs silky, smooth and hair free. What more could you ask for?
Well, admittedly it’s not completely painless! I absolutely MUST be completely honest here and warn you that the first time you use it, you will think it’s ripping an entire layer of skin off. After you get over the initial shock of the first 20 seconds of use and you realize that you skin is still intact and totally hair free, you will have the gusto to power on. After a minute or two, you really don’t even feel it anymore. It’s a mind of matter thing… Once you get distracted focusing on driving the device up your leg and making sure it gets every hair, you aren’t even thinking about what it feels like anymore. After one or two uses, you will be a pro. It’s absolutely worth the effort.
If you can’t handle waxing because it’s too painful, then you should try an epilator. It’s only doing a small area at a time instead of a huge, shocking, life-ending section of hair. I much prefer my epilator to waxing now!
I talked to a ton of other fashion and beauty bloggers before deciding which epilator to review and the Philips Satin Perfect Epilator was a blogger favorite. I hear a lot of negative things about other tv-advertised epilators and was warned to steer clear of that gimmick. I’m glad I did and went with the Philips Epilator because I can’t imagine changing a thing about this little device. It’s a god-send.
