Music is a must-have in our house so I was excited to try anything that would make it easier to put music on quickly and easily! My three kids love listening to music, so as soon as they saw the Google Chromecast Audio sitting on my desk, they were anxious for me to hook it up and get it working!
I’m not afraid to try new technology, that’s for sure, but I was unsure what to expect when setting up our new Google Chromecast Audio device. Generally, anything that uses wifi (like our printer) likes to be difficult and cause me trouble! Thankfully, setting up the Chromecast Audio was an absolute breeze and took me less than 5 minutes!
All I had to do was take Chromecast Audio out of the box, plug it into my portable bluetooth speaker and then plug the device into the wall. Then I went to chromecast.com/setup, downloaded the Google Home app on my iPad and set it up.
Setting up the app took longer than plugging the device into the speaker, but like I said, it only took me 5 minutes (if even) before I was listening to music on Pandora. It was super simple!
Why I Recommend Google Chromecast Audio:
1) You can listen to your favorite music on any speaker
You can use your phone or tablet to play, pause, or change the volume on your favorite speaker from anywhere in the home. Best of all, while you are listening to music, you can still text or call without interrupting what’s playing, hearing your phone notifications over the speaker (super annoying!) or draining your battery.
2) You get crystal clear sound, unlike bluetooth
My favorite part of the Chromecast Audio is that it streams the music over Wi-Fi which sounds way better and has many advantages over Bluetooth.
3) You can enjoy music with all your favorite audio apps
You can still stream millions of songs, radio stations, and podcasts through apps like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music, but it’s easier, faster and sounds better.
4) You can play music everywhere in your house with Multi-Room
Want to hear your favorite tunes in every room of your house? Now you can! All you have to do is group Chromecast Audio devices together and you can listen to the same song on multiple speakers throughout your home!
I’m loving Chromecast Audio and can’t believe I didn’t get something like this sooner. It’s made it much easier to listen to music anywhere in my house and the sound quality is much better than streaming it on the speaker with bluetooth. I highly recommend getting Google Chromecast Audio for your home!
