I recently had the opportunity to try General Mills NEW “Fiber One” chewy oats and chocolate granola bars and boy were they yummy!!!
After trying one, I wanted to eat the whole box in one sitting! I don’t eat granola bars very often anymore, but I used to munch on them a lot between classes when I was a professional ballet dancer. They are a great snack for someone on the go, but they are also healthy so you won’t be breaking your diet.
These bars have a wonderful chocolate flavor that satisfies your cravings. And unlike most granola bars, these are filling, but don’t leave you with that “ball of lead in the stomach” feeling. The high fiber content makes these a great choice for anyone trying to get more fiber into their daily diet.
One 40 gram bar has 140 calories, 4 grams of total fat which is 6% of the recommended daily amount (RDA), 1.5 grams of saturated fat (9% of the RDA), no trans fat, no cholesterol, 4% of the RDA for sodium (90 mg), 2 grams of protein and 29 grams of total carbohydrate which includes 10 grams of sugar and 35% of the daily value for fiber (9 grams).
Overall, I would definitely recommend these little bars to all my friends.
