Nursing and breastfeeding tops that are fashionable?! Just 20 years ago, that notion would have been almost laughable. Now, there are tons of amazing brands that make gorgeous nursing tops and dresses. One of my favorite brands is Milk Nursingwear.

This Asymmetrical Tiered Nursing Top is super soft, comfy and yet surprisingly flattering on a post-partum body. The tiered layers distract from the “mom tummy” and you’d never suspect that one of the layers lifts up to reveal slits to access your nursing bra easily.
I wore this top shopping the other day and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to nurse in it. Made me totally rethink nursing tops because previously, I was not a huge fan of nursing tops. Either the slits were in a weird place, were really obvious through the outer layer or the top area that lifts ends up being huge and bulky, suffocating my kid. This shirt’s top layer that lifts up is just the right size to offer modest coverage while nursing without being bulky and in the way.
I am really happy with this nursing top! It’s absolutely perfect for me. (Keep in mind I have small nursing breasts, which may be a factor here!) I really like this particular top because of the shape, softness, versatility and nursing bra accessibility. I definitely recommend it!
Bonus? The general public would never be able to tell it’s a nursing shirt!
I got mine in this gorgeous, vibrant coral color. It’s also available in blue and purple.

My other favorite item from Milk is this gorgeous nursing maxi dress. The material is a rayon and lycra knit blend that is so heavenly, you won’t want to take it off. Soft, comfy, forgiving and beat of all it’s convenient for nursing.
It has a criss-crossing wrap at them empire waistline which you can pull aside to reveal slits to access your nursing bra or you can just pull the whole thing down under your breast to nurse because the material is so stretchy. It keeps it’s shape well despite being stretchy, so no worries there.
I am a petite 5’2″ and this dress is almost the perfect floor length for me. I wouldn’t wear it with flip flops because it would drag on the floor a tiny bit, but with a regular sandal with at least a one inch heel, it’s perfect. Usually maxi dresses are at least 2-6 inches too long for me so I was really happy I didn’t have to he, this one!
