Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall ’09 Runway
Lace boots will be among the most original shoe trends in Fall 2009 / Winter 2010. Whether you choose Knee High Boots or little Booties, be on the look out for laces.
Lace-Up Ankle Boots are going to be very popular this year too. With all these shoe trends, you are probably wondering what shoes AREN’T trendy this season, but don’t worry! I’ll tell you what NOT to wear soon enough!!
Skip the standard ankle boots this season and opt for some fashion-forward lace-up ankle boots. Lace-up boots are great for casual daytime wear as well evening and crummy Fall days that are coming soon. You can wear them with just about any style jeans including boyfriend styles that are rolled up on the bottom. Pair with cropped pants for warmer day or long skirts. Look for rich leathers and cute details like buckles and pointed toe styles. Stiletto heels help keep this look fresh and current. Avoid going vintage on this trend as you may end up with something too old-lady-ish. You want avoid victorian looking styles this year.
