For me, this is an indispensable feature. I will never again buy another coffee maker that does not keep my coffee warm for 4 hours. I almost always have a second cup of coffee 2-4 hours after my first cup and I certainly don’t want to have to microwave it. Blech. I no longer have to do that with this coffee maker, so for me this is the BEST part of this coffee maker. Not only that, if it’s about to turn off the warming plate, you can increase the time and keep it warm for longer if need be. This is also a great feature for when I know someone is coming to visit and I want to keep the coffee warm a little bit longer than 4 hours!
The second feature of this coffee pot that has me spoiled is the dual program settings that let you set the auto on function to be two different times. I have auto 1 set for 6:15am during the weekdays and 8:00am on the weekends. Once you get used to this little feature, you will never want to go back. It’s quite the luxury!
