Dr Scholls Shoes NEW Original Sandals 2.0
About a week ago, I got a big package from Dr. Scholl’s Shoes with 3 NEW Fall styles to try out and review!
First I wanted to tell you a little bit about Dr Scholl’s Original 2.0…
Now some of you might remember the iconic exercise sandals that Dr Scholls released in 1968. They were made of wood, had the classic one band strap across the foot and the famous buckle that made them so memorable. Well I’m here today to introduce you to the NEW Original Dr Scholls 2.0 !
They are much lighter weight than the original sandals, have exceptional cushioning, especially in the heel here, have an anatomical fit and they are made of a shock absorbing material. Isn’t technology great?!
These are a really cute alternative to your standard flip flops, they come in a wide variety of colors in either leather, suede, or printed faux leather, they are very comfortable and most importantly, they are fashionable!
Over the next few weeks I will be giving these a test drive along with 2 other new Fall styles from Dr Scholls and I will be sure to let you all know what I have to say about them!
Cheers!

I wore these back in the mid-70s and loved them, except for the occasional moment when one’s foot slipped off the side- ow. Last year I bought a more recent incarnation – they were billed as the original dr scholls, but were made in south america. I found them to be narrow and flatter ( the toe bump and cupped heel not as pronounced) as the original. They have since gone to Goodwill. Will be interested to hear your review.
The toe bump is definitely not as pronounced, but the heel is very squishy so if you aren’t super skinny and lightweight, the heel will squish in when you stand in the shoes.
They are made in China but I don’t see that the quality has been compromised. I think $59 is a little steep for them, personally, but the shoes appeared well made and are quite comfortable.
I have wide feet and I didn’t find these to be too narrow for me…
I love Dr. Scholl’s sandals! Can’t wait to hear what you think!
They are great!
I bought a pair of Dr. Scholls sandals a couple of years ago and they didn’t fit like the earlier sandals did. I couldn’t wear them. I had a difficult time adjusting the buckle. It just wouldn’t move. I’d like to know if you have the same experience and I’d like to know wear they were made. I hope they’re better than the last ones I purchased.
I didn’t have a problem adjusting the buckle on these at all. Once I figured out how they worked, I could easily open the buckle and adjust them.
These are made in China but I don’t see that the quality of the shoes have been compromised but that fact. They appear well made to me although I do find the price of $59 to be a bit steep in my honest opinion. I think they should be more in the $30 price range… However, they are very comfortable!!
Thankyou for such informative post, hope we will get more from you. Regards.
