I wasn’t always a Coach fan, but their Holiday 2009 collection has definitely won me over. The thing I like best about the holiday handbags are the colors. Lots of gorgeous purple bags! Purple is my favorite color, and that is why I specifically chose the Amethyst Textured Metallic Audrey handbag for our Coach Giveaway! That deep purple color and hint of shimmer is just to die for. I’m also loving the rich fabrics and the new inlaid “C” on the Brooke bags like the purple one above. It’s just gorgeous! It’s large enough to hold everything you need to tote around without looking like a frumpy mom bag. It’s classy and sophisticated a lot like the Kristie Shoulder Flap and the Kristin Tote.
The new Poppy Sequin Mini Flap we’re giving away on The Fashionable Gal is really festive if you plan on going to any holiday parties this year. I’ve noticed several sequin bags in the Holiday collection and I think they are really exciting! I’m usually quite refined, but the holidays are a fun time when you can really go all out and wear things you normally would shy away from.

I have a weakness for original and unique handbags that the Coach Holiday Handbags really cater to… I’m not a bag connoisseur, but I know pretty when I see it and these bags are more than pretty!

This bag is absolutely gorgeous. It’s even more breath taking in person and definitely a show stopper. I can’t even begin to tell you how many women stop me and compliment my bag. And the ones that don’t, are definitely staring at it!
It’s definitely a statement making bag, but I find that it’s not so over the top, that it limits what I can wear it with. Because of the black and white, it’s surprisingly versatile.
The large size lets me hold everything I need including a small makeup bag, cell phone, wallet and even diapers and wipes. (My 2 year old daughter is potty trained, but we’re still using diapers when we are not home.) Plus I like that I can carry it with the 11″ handles or with the 14″ detachable chain shoulder strap. A nice touch to this go-anywhere bag is the cute pebbled leather studded tags.
