Birkenstocks: Yay Or Nay?
Looks like Birkenstock is really trying to run with the big dogs… Their fancy new styles and cool patent leather sandals are pretty stylish. But they’re still Birkenstock.
What do you ladies think of these Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor™ Sandals in Black patent pictured above?
Yay or nay?
Berks are Great Shoes. I switched to Z Coil recently, but still wear my Berks. I perfer the Arizona Style.

YAY! Birks are no where near the insanity of Crocs. Only the price of them is insane. ;-)
I love birkenstocks. I had heel spurs pretty bad for a while and these were very comfortable even with them. They are pretty expensive but you’ll have them forever. I have 5 pairs and I love every one of them.
I love birkenstocks. I had heel spurs a few years back and they were some of the only shoes I could wear comfortably and they do make them fashionable now a days. They are expensive but you’ll have them for many many years so in the long run they come out fairlly cheap.
I bought the same pair in orange, on sale at rue la la.
Wore them Easter weekend and got a lot of compliments!
I definitely say YAY! Birkenstocks are comfortable, good for your body and the earth, and so cute with all the colors and new styles!
It is really hard to find a good kitchen shoe that doesn’t slip on greasy floors and still has good support. I bought a pair of Profi-Birki’s and they are absolutely great. My legs and back feel great at the end of a long day. I take out the insole and wash them inside and out and they look new the next day. This is the last pair I bought Birkenstock Boston – Black Suede
you sound snobby. they’re cute and infinitely better for your feet than regular flip flops. they’re the best shoes i own. the only sandals that feel good after my ankle surgery.
@9 considering that I usually get chastised for saying anything positive about Uggs, I wanted to be careful when breaching the subject of Birkenstocks.
Definite yay. I own/run/now facebook about comfort footwear. I could go on for hours about the excellent benefits of these shoes both medically, and more lately than not, stylewise as well. The sheer volume of folks these have helped in our stores (myself included) is staggering. If you have foot problems, Birkenstocks are an oasis of help that is not to be missed.
