I love natural and eco-friendly items, especially when they fulfill all my personal needs. A new favorite in my bathroom? Beecology!

One of the hardest things for me to find is a body wash or soap that not only gets me wonderfully clean, but it also doesn’t leave a filmy residue… AND it’s good for the environment. Well, my new shower staple has arrived in the form of Honey & Oatmeal Morning Peppermint Soap! Here’s a little bit about how it came to be:

My son, like most teens, needs one for acne. So I tinkered with many formulas to see if I could come up with one soap that suited everyone. The result is Beecology’s Oatmeal and Honey Soap. It has miraculous shea butter, renowned for its nourishing qualities; it has swirled honey for moisturizing, and the oatmeal has calming properties for problem skin. I told my family that the essential grapefruit and peppermint oils smelled wonderful – and they all agreed. That was a first.

It’s got the perfect amount of scrub, an AMAZING smell and leaves me feeling refreshed and clean in the morning. I think it’s my dream come true.
