I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for MoboTap.
I received a PayPal incentive to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.
I like Google Chrome and Safari just as much as the next girl, but I end up using both browsers because neither one has ALL the features I want. Course, this results in me having to switch back and forth between the two apps and I can never remember which app I used when I’m looking for a tab I know that I already have open. They also do not sync between my iPhone and my iPad, which is also kind of annoying sometimes because then i have to remember whether I have the tab open on my iPhone or my iPad!
I didn’t think there were any other options until I heard about the Dolphin Browser.
Turns out there is another option! The Dolphin Browser is a fast, smart mobile app that is designed to make surfing the web easy and intuitive. Best of all, you can get it for Android or iOS devices and the app is FREE!
So why would you want to try the Dolphin Browser? Great question…
First off, the design is simple, clean and intuitive. You can tell what the icons stand for and there is no clutter or confusion. Best of all, you can actually train Dolphin to adapt to the way that you want to browse! Whether you want to open your favorite pages with just the touch of a finger or simple tell Dolphin where to go, you can do it easily without the need for lengthy instructions or YouTube tutorials.
All of us are busy and I know how it feels when you wish there were more hours in a day to get everything done. Because of this, it’s important to have devices, apps and programs that are easy to use and help us be more productive, as quickly as possible.
The Dolphin Browser mobile app gives you the speed and efficiency you so desperately need, in addition to the intuitive adaptability that makes browsing, searching, planning and organizing your life easier and even a little bit fun!
One of the fun features I love about the Dolphin Browser is the ability to change the “theme” of your browser, if you so desire the visual interest added to your mobile browsing experience. Two clicks and you can choose from a variety of stylish themes to suit your personal preference.
I chose a Beach theme with an ocean view, of course…
Gorgeous, right?! I mean who doesn’t want to look at the beach every time they go to browse online. I mean, if that’s not your thing, there are other themes to choose from too, but that one is definitely my favorite!
There are more reasons to love the Dolphin Browser than just pretty themes though. The most obviously clever feature of the Dolphin Browser that sets it apart from the crowd and a head above the rest is the ability to create custom “Gestures” that quickly allow you to simply swipe and go.
Other Cool Features:
- Sonar: Ask and you shall receive with smart voice search.
- Tabbed Browsing: Open multiple tabs for all-in-one browsing.
- Modes: Go into Night Mode, Private Mode, or Desktop Mode for maximum flexibility while you browse.
- Add-Ons: Tailor your Dolphin experience with third-party add-ons.
- Side Bars: Quickly access bookmarks and options with a swipe.
- Dolphin Connect: Stay connected by syncing your data across compatible devices.
Browsing the web with the Dolphin browser is fast, easy and fun!
On the Dolphin Browser home screen, you can find customize your shortcuts so you can get to your favorite websites in one click. As an added bonus, just click on the โ+โ to add one of hundreds of web apps, or you can add the specific URL for your favorite site, like The Fashionable Housewife!
Once you are on a cool page and you decide you want to share it with a friend, just click the “Share” button to reveal a hoard of sharing options including Evernote, Email, Text Message, Facebook and more!
The app looks slightly different on my iPhone than on my iPad. The screenshots above are from using Dolphin Browser on my iPad. Here is what it looks like on my iPhone 6+ with the “Nebula” theme.

Nebula is a free theme, but there are many other themes to choose from including free ones and paid ones.
One of the features I love is when I’m typing in a url, there are quick options added to the menu above the keyboard that include “www” and “.com”. Those two things alone make typing a url much faster. Of course, the first place you’re going to want to visit is https://www.thefashionablehousewife.com of course, right?
In the menus, you’ll find a variety of options like adding bookmarks, sharing content, changing themes, and access to other Dolphin settings to really customize your experience.
Tap the tab list icon is located on the bottom right hand side of the screen. One click and you can see all open tabs and can quickly change between tabs or close any of the open tabs. You can also close the current tab by swiping up from the icon.
When you are on a website, you can access the left side bar by swiping from the left side of the screen towards the right. You then have access Dolphin Connect to sync bookmarks and history, manage bookmarks, and view/clear history.
Clicking on the Dolphin icon on the bottom let’s you access the “Gestures” feature. Tapping on the three horizontal lines lets you access the main menu for all the settings.
A tap on the QR code / barcode scanner to quickly scan barcodes to price check items when you are in a store. I can’t be the only one that checks the price of almost everything on Amazon first before buying it in the store, am I?! lol
Just tap the QR code symbol near the address bar and scan the barcode of the item you want to price check…
Do you want to know the best feature of all? On the bottom left hand size of the screen is the back and forward buttons. Did you hear me? On the BOTTOM of the screen is the back and forward buttons… WHERE THEY SHOULD BE! That is the MOST annoying thing about using Chrome and Safari is the back buttons are on the top which is so inconvenient to access, especially with my huge iPhone 6+! Nobody wants to change the grip on their phone just to click on a button. Dolphin thought of this (and so much more) to create the perfect mobile browser.
I am SO glad I discovered Dolphin Browser. It’s the only browser I use on my phone now. I love it!
