If you couldn’t already tell that I’m from New England, this will really give it away!
Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day!
Remember that commercial?! I was pleasantly surprised to find a new version of the original commercial on YouTube as well! Check it out… I love it!
The remake of the iconic TV commercial was made to celebrate the 100th Anniversary celebration of Prince Pasta. The company was started by Sicilian immigrants in 1912 as Prince Macaroni Company on 92 Prince Street in Bostonโs North End. If you are from around here, you probably already know the Prince story.
In celebration of National Pasta Month, Prince Pasta has partnered with Christine and Carla Pallotta, chefs and owners of local Italian eatery, NEBO, to develop creative and easy-to-follow recipes using Prince Pasta.
Prince Pasta will reveal one of the Pallotta sisters recipes each Wednesday for the entire month of October, showing how to make a simple and delicious meal with Prince Pasta. The recipes include Christineโs Breakfast Pasta, Cavatappi Funghi, Pasta al Forno (shown below) and Pasta Piselli.

It’s so easy to make delicious pasta meals, you’ll want to make at least 3 or 4 a week! If you are thinking, “Good God, I can’t eat pasta more than once a week! I’ll get fat!” you can just stop right there! Pasta (in moderation, obviously) can in fact, be quite healthy! You’d probably be surprised to learn about the nutritional value in pasta. Time to debunk those pasta myths and get cookin’.
I decided to make The Pioneer Woman’s Macaroni And Cheese with Prince pasta shells instead of elbow macaroni cause I just like those little shells better. It came out perfect!
Hungry yet? Check out Prince Pasta Facebook page! They are always posting yummy recipes and other fun stuff!
I participated in Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Prince Pasta. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.
