Urban Decay just released their best selling Primer Potion with a new angled wand!
Most of you know I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to makeup unlike my beloved Karen over at MakeupandBeautyBlog.com or my dearest Temptalia. However, I do know one thing about makeup and that is the single most important item to have in your makeup arsenal. Say hello to Urban Decay Primer Potion. This nude colored eyeshadow base goes on easily, just a dab will do, and it magically makes ANY eyeshadow stay put on your lids with no creasing or blurring.
The only downside to this magical potion is the cute little bottle. I’ve read on more than one other blog the horror stories of women sawing their bottles in half to get the product out of the bottle! Apparently, Urban Decay was made aware of this problem and decided to fix it with a new angled wand.
While the angled wand may help fish out a bit more than the straight wand, I still think the bottle is the major flaw. The way in which the bottle is shaped makes it nearly impossible to get all of the product out of the bottle. You either have to let 1/3 of the product go to waste, or resort to cutting the bottle open and scooping out the remaining product. Yikes!
I’m hoping the new wand gets more out of the bottle, but I’ll have to use it for a couple months to find out. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how many Beauty Bloggers saw open their bottles to see if the new angled brush really is performing!
Another thing to note… All the new bottles of Urban Decay Primer Potion is made with a new vegan formula which seems to work identical to the old formula. Thank goodness!
