Lipstick is back. Veronica Lake had it right – red lips are sexy and classic. Line lips with a waterproof lip liner such as Aqua Lip #9C ($16.00) to create definition and to keep lipstick put. Fill in lined lips with a cherry red, moisturizing lipstick like Lipstick #207 ($18.00). Seal the deal with a lip sealant to keep the red hue from fading throughout the day such as NEW Lip Seal ($20.00).
Purple reigns. Reminiscent of Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra, these days smoky eyes arenโt just for evening. Use purple hues for a lighter, daytime-friendly look. Line top lash line with a deep purple cream liner, such as the NEW Aqua Creamliner #5 ($20.00). Swipe a burgundy shadow such as NEW Diamond Eye Shadow #311 ($20.00) over the lid and brow bone.
