Trend Alert: Coach Handbags

Everybody has one these days whether they are real or fake. I don’t know when they exploded in popularity, but I see them EVERYWHERE. I would say 2 out of every 10 women I see are carrying a Coach logo handbag whether I’m in the mall, grocery store, Wal Mart, or the drugstore.

It really seems like Coach are the must-have item for this winter.

DON’T FALL FOR IT!

In my opinion, the Coach logo bag fad is a little bit like the crocs… Ugly, distasteful, and way over popularized.

The Coach trademark symbol is so ugly and the style of most of their handbags are unattractive. Who wants a bunch of deformed looking letter “C’s” all over their bag? Not me!

With all the beautiful bags out there, this is the last bag I would want.

So you heard it here… Coach logo bags are in.
And so OUT!

Whether real or fake, don’t fall for this trend…

I agree with the Coach logo purses being unattractive and altogether too trendy; however I have been a Coach fan since I got my first one at the age a 14 (almost 20 years ago and I still have it). I loved and still love their original leather (no logo) line. They last forever and they have a great maintenance policy. So all in all I think a great brand is marketing to a younger more brand hungry customer than they did years before. Pity.

  2. I’m with you ladies. The big logo screams ‘Look at me. I just spent my car payment on a purse!’.

    Having said that, the quality of the purses are fantastic and, if you buy one, you’d have it forever. Like MaCherieCoco said, it’s too bad they don’t make them like they used to :(

  3. As others have said, the logo bags are obnoxious. Coach has some beautiful leather no longe bags though, and are no more expensive than any other good leather bags.

    I was in the US a few weeks ago and thought everyone had Vera Bradley bags…Coach is much nicer than VB!

  4. Oh goodness, yes! The Vera Bradley bags are everywhere too. And they are MUCH uglier. I don’t even consider them a fashion trend though… Maybe an UGLY trend!

    I should have been more specific in my post to say that I only meant the logo bags. I should change it…
