Today’s Outfit: Striped Maternity Top

I really like shirts that have the banded bottom on them, regardless of whether it’s a maternity top or not. It accentuates the fact that I have a cute, round belly instead of looking like a giant pumpkin on stilts. The horizontal stripes are especially cute on my growing belly, but aren’t very practical for any other time in life. This isn’t a maternity top, but works great as such.

I’m wearing this cute striped top with gray sweatpants today. It’s just that kind of a day and I want to be comfy! To make up for the lack of style in my bottoms, I have accessorized with red ballet flats, a red pendant necklace, and two red beaded bracelets that I made myself. It’s a great casual outfit to accommodate my growing baby bump and growing discomfort. I don’t feel like dressing up these days! I think I’ll have to move on to honest to goodness maternity tops and bottoms soon.
