I absolutely love shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls! They are 2 of my favorite stores because no matter when I go, I always find something I’m interested in at a very good price.

Last time I went to Marshalls, I bought a really cute faux leather jacket for only $26 and a bottle of Sexy Hair Concepts Big Sexy Hair Big Volume Shampoo for only $4 (it retails for $12). I went with my grandmother who is the sweetest little lady in the whole world. She always loves to go shopping with me! Well on this shopping trip, I was able to find her a new black purse that was on clearance for only $5!

There are always so many purses and handbags at bother TJ’s and Marshalls, I have a hard time refraining from getting a new bag every time I go! I have so many handbags, I couldn’t possibly use them all in 1 year, even if I changed bags every week. So needless to say I don’t need a new handbag.

  1. The best bargain that I have gotten at T J Maxx is curtains. I purchased a comforter set and needed curtains to match and they were over $125 in the store where I purchased the comforter. At TJ Maxx I got them for $35 a pair. I needed 4 pairs, now that quite a a lot of money saved.

  9. I found a sweater with a missing button, marked down from $35 to $18, and I spoke with the manager and got it for $8.00! And the best part? An extra button was sewn into the seam on the inside of the sweater, so all I had to do was spend five minutes sewing and I got a gorgeous sweater for 8 bucks!

  18. My BEST find at TJ Maxx was a $180 pair of Chip and Pepper jeans that I got for $20! They are by far my fav. jeans!

  27. I bought a pair of Vineyard Vines Pajamas for 15.00. I am pretty sure they were retailing about 100.00. My husband has bought the German nutcrackers that retail for anywhere between 175-250 in department stores at TJ Maxx or Marshalls for about 45-60. (I collect the nutcrackers and these have been part of the Christmas gift I receive).

  36. The best deal I got from TJ Maxx was a $50 Billabong sweater I purchased for $12. It’s been 2 years and my oldest boy is still wearing it.

  44. I found a 7$ pull up bar at Marshall’s just this past 2 months or so, it is SO nice that they have fitness items and GREAT fitness clothes. Got my first pair of Green Apple pants there. More than half my wardrobe is from there, I love all of it!!

  46. th best deals I got… Well TJ Maxx I got a Diane von furstenberg silk blouse for $14.99 and I just got the best leather knee high boots for $35 at Marshalls last week!

  50. The are actually two great finds. The first one is a Black Leather Coach doctors bag with gold hardware for $159. The second is a Chocolate Medium Logo Dooney and Bourke satchel for $169. I cant leave out the wonderful Yankee candles for $9.99 or the Kasper Suites for $59.00. I have a problem….I have been addicted to TJ Maxx and Marshalls for a long time! LOL

  58. I gave this same answer on the Fashionable Gal Marshalls giveaway, but it is worth repeating! The best deal I’ve ever scored was two months ago at Marshalls. I was browsing the shoe section and found a pair of Stuart Weitzman cream patent sling-backs. There was only one pair, and it was my size. Imagine my shock when I saw the price tag: only $17.00! Oh yeah, I don’t mind paying that when the original sticker price was $280! They’re now in my closet, and I love wearing them!

  63. Good grief, I love both those stores. I’ve found everything from fabulous BCBG sandals to bath & body products to shapewear there. I once paid $2.50 for a pair of Spanx and $20 for a Calvin Klein dress that I wore to a wedding. They have great deals on athletic apparel too…I’d have no problem spending $25!

  72. I LOVE TJ Maxx and Marhalls!!! I have found so many bargains there! Personally I love my Michael Kors White linen dress that I got for $50 Or my over the knee nine west boots for $60…both were great bargains! I also love to shop for childrens clothes there. I get very good deals.

  79. Where do I begin??? I have found so many bargains at both Marshall’s and TJ Maxx..This summer I found 5 pairs of awesome shoes for around 120 dollars..great buy..my favorite tops come from Maxx Studio..retail for around 60-70 dollars..at TJ Maxx for between 12.99 -24.99.

  92. The very best find I have purchased at TJ maxx are these gorgeous leopard open toe high heeled sandals for $12.00 that I LOVE to use to jazz up my black wrap dress. They instantly make me feel sexier, stronger, and more feminine. However, there are numerous great buys at both places….love both tj maxx and marshalls!!!!

    Anything Calvin Klein. I’ve scored a suit, dresses for weddings (funerals too), and really a variety of work shirts, jeans and underwear. :) :)

    Most times I save between 50-70% off what I’d pay right down the street for the same item at the giant CK store!

  132. At Marshalls I found a pair of BCBG Max Azria Camoflauge Sweat Pants for $15.00. I should have bought two pairs. I live in them after work.

    At TJ Maxx, I got a pair of Franco Sarto sandals for $10.00. Most of his sandals range from $50.00 to $70.00. Awesome deal!

  140. My best find was at TJMaxx about 13 years ago. I found my Wedgewood china pattern there and was able to get all sorts of stuff – sugar bowl, butter holder, creamer holder, tea pot, plates, bowls, coffee mugs. The SAME pattern was still selling at a major department store, so I scored big time getting it all at TJMaxx. I didn’t have a car at the time, so my roommate drove me to every TJMaxx in the Washington, DC/Northern VA, Southern MD area.

  159. The best deal I’ve found was my wedding shoes! I wanted flat sandals because it was outdoors, but something flashy and memorable. I found beautiful rhinestoned sandals that were perfect at TJ Maxx–for $15!

I am getting married this coming summer and have decided to beef up my look for myself and the soon to be. My favorite find would have to have been at Marshall’s.   191. I bought a LBD on the clearance rack at TJ for get this…..$6.99 about 3 years ago and have worn it to so many events I can’t count them. I have even try ed not to wear it and shop for something else but, always ending up putting it on and returning my high priced item back to a department store. It was made for me as I was made for TJ MAXX.

  205. My biggest bargin was bathing suits on sale for $5.00. I bought them for my granddaughter who is in college and goes to the beach and swims a lot and likes to wear different suits. I had a $50.00 gift certificate and spent it all on bathing suits. She was jumping for joy. Thanks for the entry

  208. I feel as though every purchase I make at TJ Maxx or Marshalls is well worth it but the best bargain was a BCBG Lounging Suit. Each piece had the orginal sticker price of $125.00 for the top and $125.00 for the bottoms and I managed to find a matching set for $19 for each piece. So I got a $250 Lounging Suit for $40!

  217. Best bargain ever? A Nine West purse I’ve been carrying for a few months now. I got it for $25 bucks! I haven’t shopped at TJ Maxx very much, since they just opened a store here a few months ago.

  324. I was searching for a dress or something nice to wear to a wedding, not fancy, just nice, but on a very limited budget. I found a pantsuit in the perfect color, size, everything and only $10! I was a happy camper! I once found the perfect set of canisters at TJ Maxx on a clearance table, and I had no $$, none. I have been sick about it for the last 3yrs. Never have seen a blue set before that was exactly what I wanted. :(

  385. The best deal I ever got was a life saver. I had a job interview in Maine in the middle of January and noone here in the south had any scarves or hats but TJMaxx did. Got gloves, hat and scarf for 15.00. Still have it and ready to wear it this winter.

  395. The best bargain from TJ Maxx was a winter coat for my daughter. It was beautiful- two shade pink and white, and OshKosh for $19!! Great buy! She has worn it now for 2 winters now.

  413. Great bags! I’ve had a lot of great finds at TJ Maxx, especially in the toy section for Christmas & birthday presents over the years. My favorite bargain though was a black & white large purse. I got it for $19.99, this purse has received so many compliments. It is like a joke now in my family because everywhere I go, at least one person comments on it. I also got a great Red Liz Claiborne purse for around $30 that gets a lot of compliments.

  433. My best bargain was a gorgeous marc jacobs grey skirt for $5 on clearance AND a LeSportSac yoga bag for $3 on clearance! Both at TJ Maxx, on the same day!!! I have yet to beat that AWESOME shopping day!

  435. the best bargain I’ve ever found was a sun hat, I was looking a hat every where. I looked at nordstrom and fond a hat for $95, then I went to marshalls and found a hat for $5.

    When I was a little girl my Dad took me to marshalls and let me pick out my own birthday present, I really wanted a porcelain doll. So we found one in a blue dress. I still treasure her, she is in my closet.
