The Sparkliest Uggs Ever

With yet another snowstorm scheduled to incapacitate the East Coast this week,  my Ugg boots and I are becoming good friends.  I was on the official Ugg website sussing out some new styles when I came across these beauties:

The Classic Women’s Ugg Shortie in the super sequin style!  Available in Black, Silver and Gold, imagine the fun you can have with these boots!  I was picking up my teenage daughter from a school dance last week and the common uniform was cutoffs and Ugg boots rolled down to just above the ankle.   It would be like a throw back to Studio 54 if the tween/teen set got a line on these!

Like all Ugg boots and slippers, I’m sure these are super comfortable, but they don’t seem to be not all that practical.  But they definitely would brighten up a cold and an snowy winter day.  (Although the model here doesn’t look like she is too troubled with the weather.  And she sure is rockin’ the boots!)

  1. The black ones are pretty but all in all seriously impractical. I would love to see leather ugh boots with some rhinestone bling added (sort of like a jeweled iron-on fabric tattoo) that were still washable and easy to clean. Here in Michigan everything gets a nasty salt residue and those sparkle sequined boots would stay pretty maybe a day … if you stayed at home! ;P

  2. I would have to say thumbs down….I would be afraid to wear them outside the house. If you made them maybe into a slipper type thing well then that might be a bit different

  3. I actually prefer Bearpaws version of these, they give you the sparkle, but are slightly more toned down and glammed up. Plus, they are not sequins, so the chance of the darn things getting caught and pulling off every five seconds is eliminated.

  5. Sorry, but … no, thanks … a case less would be more … sparkle as accent could work so much better here than overall blinding bling … crystal boot toppers, anyone?
