Coppertone Endless Summer Sunless Tanning Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion is the easy way to build and control a flawless, sunless tan.
The website says:
Coppertone Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion contains a gentle tanning agent that blends with your natural skin tone so your color change is subtle, not shocking. You can apply this daily, as you would a body lotion, to build color until you reach the natural-looking shade you desire. This may take several applications. Contains moisturizers and vitamin E, clean, won’t clog pores, and dries quickly. Use daily or as needed to get the flawless, natural-looking color you control.
I found this to be less streaky than a lot of other self tanners I’ve tried in the past. It gave me a nice, gradual, believable tan in just 2 applications, although it’s supposed to happen more gradually… I expected it to be a few days before I noticed any color change.
I exfoliated like a mad woman in the shower, towel dried and smoothed on a thin coat of this from my neck down to my toes, avoiding my breasts. I went to bed about 10 mins later (it dries quickly) and the next day, I was shocked to see a huge difference. Because I didn’t put any on my breasts, I could see the color difference very clearly. Next night, I applied it again and woke up to find myself even darker. It didn’t produce the “brown” tan color I was hoping for, but it’s definitely not orange either.
I have extremely pale, milky white skin (redhead skin!) and I found that it soaked into my skin very quickly and gave me darker skin after just one application. If you’re pale like me, don’t apply this every day as it suggests!! Just put it on, go to bed, and see if you like what you see in the morning. If you do, go for another layer. I don’t think I can do more than 3 applications in 1 week without getting too dark.
While this is a “moisturizing lotion” you should still avoid getting it on dry spots like ankles, knees, and elbows. And be careful when blending it into your feet and the tops of your hands. On my second application I accidentally got too much on one ankle and not the other and it was totally obvious! A little extra scrubbing in the shower helped tone it down though.
You absolutely MUST read these Tips And Tricks For Sunless Tanning before you get started on your fake tan! If you are new to sunless tanning, or you’re an old pro that just wants a casual summer glow, this is the perfect product to start with. The bottle lasts a long time and it is a great value. I will definitely be using this for the rest of the Summer!
