Summer is here, and we are already feeling the heat. Want to beat the heat this summer with some cool, trendy summer hairstyles which are simple yet chic?
Here are some perfect summer hairstyles for you:
Long Pixie Cut
If you are bored with your long or medium length hair and looking for more airy hairstyles, go for a long pixie cut. It looks good on almost all kinds of face shapes- especially round and triangular ones. This long pixie cut makes your hair have a voluminous look with bangs at the front, while having very short hair at the back, and there’s no way your neck gets bothered by hair in this sweaty weather.
Bangs at the front will add a nice frame to your face, as well as keep you breezy. The long pixie cut hairstyle can be styled in more ways than one- you can straighten, curl, or even dye or add highlights to your bangs to create one of the best summer hairstyles you can get.
Hair wash routine
Don’t want to let go of your precious long locks? Don’t worry! You can have loads of fun with long hair without being drenched in sweat. First and foremost, you need to have a good hair-wash routine. Wash your hair with shampoo at least three to four times a week. Don’t apply too much conditioner during high humidity spells, and also, don’t apply it on your scalp, but along the length of your hair to its tips. Once a week you can oil your hair and scalp, and then rinse it off thoroughly with shampoo.
Once your hair is free of sweat and dirt, let’s get to work. One of my favorite summer hairstyles are ponytails! Pull your hair up in a neat ponytail- you can go with a loose ponytail or a tight, high ponytail-both hairstyles look smart. If you have medium length hair, you can pull out one or two locks in the front of your face, to give it an illusion of bangs.
A bubble ponytail is also a great option-it’s really easy to do, but looks like you’ve given a lot of effort into it. You can try side ponytails too; take all your hair into one side and secure in it a ponytail, and pin a flower to the other side (behind your ear) to get a cute look.
Braids and Buns
If you want a more intricate hairstyle, braided hairstyles are the way to go. A French braid is perfect for a second day hair, on a scorching summer day. A classic fishtail braid or rope braids are some easy braids- they are neat yet elegant. It’s the perfect summer hairstyle!
Too lazy to do any of these, but still want a cute summer hairstyle? High bun hairstyles save the day. They are literally the easiest to do yet look super cute. Go with a simple top knot bun– it requires a bobby pin or two and hardly takes five minutes. Flowers always go well with summer hairstyles, so a little flower crown around your bun will make you look like a fairy! If you want something more stylish, a messy bun and a double twisted bun are great options for you.
