The weather here in the NorthEast, it was GORGEOUS yesterday. My front yard got up to 63° and most of the snow melted. It really got me in the mood for Spring Shopping!
So I decided to look around and see what other Spring Trends were on a menu. One trend that is wigging me out a little bit is the Tie Dye trend… Are we seriously digging up that old trend again? Ugh. I don’t know if anyone is going to be jumping on board with that one…
Another one I’m not too crazy about is the Color Block Trend. I didn’t like it last year. I don’t like it this year. The bold color contrasting is just too much for everyday gals. You have to be a stick figure like Agyness Deyn to pull off this look. It’s just not, shall we say, “housewife friendly”.
After a lot of looking around, we did find some more Spring Trends we think you’re going to love.

Here’s a few more Spring trends:
Hot Pink
This bright and sexy color isn’t just for Barbie anymore! Magenta is shaping up to be the must-have shade for 2009. This color won’t just be for Spring though! Plan on finding yourself a hot pink bikini. The good news is, this color flatters almost every skin tone, however redheads should steer clear unless their wearing this color on their feet!
Pastel Pant Suit
If you have to wear a pant suit to work, you’re going to love this trend. Trade in your boring black and gray pant suits for a pretty pastel one this Spring. Soft shades give the pant suit a sophisticated flair. Work this sweet trend into your Spring wardrobe by getting a few mix and match separates like this trouser pant in seasonless stretch for $69.50 & matching jacket for $128. We love this trend!
Asymmetrical Dresses
This single-shouldered style has made a comeback and is being seen on everything from dresses
and tops to evening gowns and bikinis. Showing a little shoulder can be subtly sexy as well as adding something interesting to an otherwise normal looking dress. I especially love this ruffled one shouldered blouse
from Nordstrom.
Sequins & Glitter
You might think sequins and glitter are a little too over-the-top for everyday wear, and you’d probably be right. But there are easy ways to incorporate a little glitz into your life without looking like a frou frou cupcake by just wearing a cute Sequin Metallic Tank
with a pair of jeans. For a night on the town, you can get a really affordable (read $17) Sequin Mini Dress
.
Black-on-White
This trend was first sported at the Oscar de la Renta’s runway show. Big, artful black stripes on a white makes a bold statement that’s fresh and artful. The best place to find perfect white and black items is White House | Black Market
