My kids have been LOVING the new Serta Perfect Sleeper Convertible Sofa that we got from Delta Children. We’re obsessed with this thing!
My 20-month-old and my 4-year-old are the perfect sizes for this cute little kid’s sofa. It’s so versatile on top of being ridiculously comfortable. You know the obsession everyone has with Squishmallows right now? Well, this couch feels like it’s made out of one of those.
It’s the perfect spot to sit and read a book, color, watch TV, or set up in their pretend “waiting room” when they play Dr’s Office (which has been frequent lately.) This sofa is definitely made for more than just a cute place to sit.
I love that our Crate & Barrel book caddy in gray matches it perfectly. That’s a big bonus! Sometimes gray can be so hard to match. #firstworldproblems
Another thing I really love about this little sofa is that it’s super lightweight (unlike our Nugget Comfort Couch) so it’s really easy to move around from room to room when they decide to do different things with it. Sometimes it’s a bed, sometimes it’s an operating table, sometimes it’s where they examine animals with their veterinarian kit, and other times it’s upside down and part of a fort with blankets and pillows strewn everywhere!
Right now it’s in their playroom with their favorite gray fuzzy rug and their basket of campfire logs and rocks.
When they aren’t playing with the sofa, I love to dress it up with throw pillows like this one from Pillowfort. Sometimes they even let me drape a cute throw blanket on the corner. But it doesn’t stay there for long! Just long enough for a cute picture though…
A few weeks back, before Jr got a haircut, we had this little Serta sofa in the living room and all 5 of my kids kept fighting over it. Yes, even my 10 and 13-year-old were trying to sit on it, much to my dismay. “It’s just so soft and comfy!” they said. “Hey do they make this in a bigger size?”
*insert frustrated mama*
Hmmm, now there’s an idea for Serta. They need a line of teen furniture made with this same material and cushy foam. It would be a big hit, I can promise that!
The cover easy easy to remove if you need to wash it and just as simply to put back on the foam pieces to rebuild it. It’s a genius design and we’re absolutely loving it. I might need to get a second one so they will stop fighting over it all the time!
It’s less than half the price of the Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair ($139+) and as you can see, it’s twice as versatile too! It’s really a no-brainer. The Serta Perfect Sleeper Convertible Sofa is the best seating option for your kids whether they are in the living room, playroom, or bedroom.
