I’ve mentioned before that I’m a big fan of The Children’s Place. I appreciate that the clothes are well-priced yet still made with quality, enough to withstand typical kid activities. Also, in contrast to the self-consciously hipster aesthetic of some pricier brands, TCP items never seem to take themselves too seriously, instead playing with contemporary trends in a fun, kid-appropriate way.
For this reason, I always look forward to attending TCP’s seasonal roll-out events and viewing their new apparel. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make the event for Spring, but I got a full lookbook and really loved what I saw.
These boys’ outfits show how well The Children’s Place combines interesting patterns and colors to create fun looks for your little guy. Check out their Boys’ section, where it’s easy to mix and match your own items to make cool outfits of our own.

Great stuff for girls too! I particularly like the pretty, versatile lace skirt ($24.95) and TCP’s cute shoe selection is always worth checking out.

And since Spring is filled with dressy occasions (Easter, graduations, weddings, Mother’s Day), I love the options in the dressy collection. I particularly like the way these looks are playing with a preppy theme but updating it with contemporary details. The girls dresses here are true classics (for great prices), and the boys’ items can be dressed up or down depending on whether you pair them with jeans or slacks.
I definitely recommend checking out the Spring collection, either at one of the many Children’s Place stores or on their easy-to-use website. Also, be sure to like The Children’s Place on Facebook for special promos and offers.
