Sensodyne has just launched this new toothpaste for foodies like yourself – it’s called Sensodyne ProNamel and it protects against the acids in many of our favorite foods and drinks, which over time can lead to a condition called acid wear.
Let’s face it – we’re not going to give up fine wines and fresh fruits, both of which are high in acid. That’s why Sensodyne ProNamel is such a great solution – it helps protect your teeth from an acid attack. Over time, untreated acid wear can weaken the enamel so much that it ultimately can change the texture and appearance of teeth, as well as cause painful tooth sensitivity. And once your tooth enamel is gone, it cannot be replaced or repaired, so that’s why it’s important to take preventative steps.
Iron Chef Cat Cora considers acid wear an occupational hazard, which is why she teamed up with Sensodyne ProNamel to create The Food Pro’s Guide to Dining Out With a Smile. It’s a handy booklet that contains her insider tips on dining out, great recipes and tips to protect your smile from acid wear. You can download the Guide for free in PDF form. I’ve been using Sensodyne ProNamel for over 2 weeks now. It claims to helps re-harden tooth enamel, making it more resistant to further acid attack. Of course, this is something I wouldn’t notice from just 2 weeks of use, so you’ll just have to take their word for it.
I think this toothpaste has a very pleasant flavor and consistency. Brushing my teeth isn’t my favorite part of the day, but this toothpaste definitely make it a more enjoyable experience. I would recommend it!
