Payless Shoes, give them a chance!
Listen here girls, I know that that name brand pair of Jimmy Choo’s or Prada pumps are your babies (well besides your actual children) but lest us not forget that cute shoes don’t have to be terribly expensive. I, of course, go the distance when I am buying a new pair of running sneakers or a pair of heels for a black tie wedding but when it comes to every day wear, there are affordable options that can actually be comfortable as well. Please trust me when I say that Payless Shoe Source and Payless.com
have got a little somethin’ something to offer, especially when you might want to follow a trend that maybe possibly won’t be a classic? Why spend the major dough on a fad when you can save it for a pair that will last you years.
The shoes that have made my summer? Out of the 7 pair I have bought in the past few months, 3 pairs were from Payless.
The Fio Turquoise Scarlet Fringe Sandal came into my life when I first saw them on a Payless commercial on tv. I immediately saw them and said, “Whaaaa? Payless?” I went to my local store and to my dismay they only had them in a size too big and a size too small. The lovely associate indicated that they were a popular pair of shoes. Why did everyone else have to think the same way that I did? Buuuuuuuuut Payless offers the option to ship to your local store to avoid shipping costs (or they’ll ship to your house for a minimal $5.95 shipping). I ordered up my size 7 Scarlett Fringies and they called me a week later. I never looked back. I paid $24.99 but they are now on sale for $9.99 (with a bunch of sizes still left) so snag a pair before the summer is done!
The alice + olivia for Payless Beatrix Patent Platform Sandal is just ultra cool if you ask me. I paid $38.00 for these bad boys but they are now on sale for $19.99. A steal if you ask me. I have to say that although they don’t look like the utmost in comfort, I will attest to them being as comfortable as heels can be. Just make sure that you get your true size.
The Dexter Lynn Chop-Out Wedge is just a plain cute pair of sandals. Sundresses, summer, skirts, shorts and jeans… You can wear them with anything. For real. Was $26.99 but now are on sale for $14.99. Holla!
Check out some of the other rad styles (besides my favs) they have available now:
Abaete for Payless Evelynn Slingback now $19.99, Maria Gladiator Sandal
Now $24.99, Karney Platform Sandal
now $26.99, alice + olivia for Payless Claire Sandal
now $19.99, Henna Gladiator Wedge
now $24.99 and Fiona Ballet Flat
, now $12.99
I totally agree with you. The way the economy is right now why are you going to expend more than $500 on a pair of shoes, when for less than $30 you can get a very trend shoe that you can wear all season long.
I agree on expending a little more money on classic pieces that you are going to wear again and again, but why expend that much money in a trendy shoe that next season is going to be out.
Be a fashionista mean that you are a smart women when it comes to fashion. Translation expend more on classic pieces and less on trendy ones.
Besides, you don’t have to expend a million dollar to look like a million dollar.
Yay! I hate to think that women with any intelligence would scoff at the idea of Payless shoes. Some people say that you get what you pay for but I am still wearing a pair of gladiator sandals (today actually) that I bought last summer at Payless so if you ask me, I have made my money back and then some!
I love payless shoes! They are a great way to buy trendy shoes that you don’t want to pay a lot of money for. Especially sandals!
I couldn’t agree more, girls.
I love many payless shoes and have been buying from them for years.
Most of my trendy shoes are from there. Not a bad place to buy shoes at all.
