So if you have been following my posts on my month long adventure with new ORIGINS Plantscription™, this is my Week Two report! If you have not been following my posts (bad girls), you can find them here and here… OK, so if everyone caught up? OK, good.
Ummmm, I AM IN LOVE. My face has never felt so smooth continuously even with my moisturizer that I have been using for years (which will now gather dust on my bathroom shelf). Plantscription™ is legitimately the real deal.
I can tell you right now, after having used this product every morning and evening for the past two weeks, that I can really tell a difference. I got through my monthly visitor without any blemishes, my skin is bright and my tone is more even than its ever been. It is not a normal occurrence where I feel the need to gush about a product but this is different. Plantscription™ rocks my world.
I can’t wait to share our surprise at the end of my series on the genius that is ORIGINS Plantscription™
Do you use a moisturizer in addition to Origins PLANTscription? I tried a sample, and I agree, my skin felt silky smooth with one application. I have super-sensitive skin that reacts to stress within seconds, and I was pleasantly surprised that my face remained “redless” and clear all day. Thank you.
I occasionally will use my Aveeno moisturizer but Plantscription pretty much replaced that one entirely. If my face is feeling a little dry or sensitive, I don’t think twice about using my moisturizer.
Fashionable indeed! Hot little site here. And informative. Hello.
That’s what we like to hear!
I’ve been using Plantscriptions for a week now and really like it. I started with a free sample and I liked it so much I went to buy a full size bottle. I did notice that my skin was feeling rather dry so I asked the Origins salesperson about whether to use a moisturizer, and she they definately recommend it (but that might depend on your skin type and how it feels if you don’t). I bought the Perfect World moisturizer with SPF25 sunscreen. I would say you should use sunscreen if you’re using an exfoliating serum like Plantscriptions-your skin is much more vulnerable to the harmful rays of the sun.
I did find it interesting that there aren’t instructions for using Plantscriptions, such as how often to use it and whether you should keep it away from your eyes (common instruction with products such as Retin-A and Renova).
I’m looking forward to seeing the results of continued use of Plantscriptions!
The problem is, though, that you looooove every single product that you review (and I doubt that the giant advertisement for Plantscription on this page is a coincidence), so it’s hard to put much credibility in this review.
Everyone has their own opinion and in my opinion, Plantscription is pretty awesome. If I review a product that I don’t care for, I will tell our readers the truth.
As for the advertisement, this changes based on what articles you click on. It just happened to click to Plantscription due to the article you were reading.
Sorry you don’t find our reviews credible but I assure you they are. Hopefully you enjoy our other articles!
Stay fashionable! <3
What are the ingredients in it?
Yes, this is the selling point for me. I try to avoid the toxic chemicals found in most moisturizers and tend to stick with all-organic products. A lot of so-call ‘natural’ products fool you but combining natural AND chemical products. Unfortunately most people just look at the front label and don’t bother reading the fine print on the back label.
Just to clarify, I would not use this product before checking the ingredients list. Just because the product name includes the word ‘PLANT’ does not mean it’s all natural.
I hate it when advertisers insult my intelligence
origins is an estee lauder product, and the best thing about it, is that it is benign so if you have sensitive skin and don’t want to pay a high price buy origins. have used sk-ii, clinique, shisedo, la mer, olay, vichy, aveeno and they are pretty much all the same. no great shakes, but not offensive to the skin either. my mom is 79, uses a very inexpensive face cream, and then uses sugar with olive oil as a scrub and looks fantastic.
Hi Amanda: Are you paid by Origins or any other companies to blog about their products? Reason I ask is, it is a common practice so not all bloggers are clear on these arrangements. Also, I have tried many creams and none of them are miracle creams. Sleep, sunscreen and healthy diet matter at least 50% if not more…based on my own experience and even my Aveda facialist! Cosmetics companies are good at enticing women to spend large sums on their “proven” ingredients yet if you read research by credible dermatologists, only a few ingredients including prescription strength Retin A and Vitamin C can really change your skin. If you want all natural there are many better brands than Estee Lauder/Origins.
We are NOT paid by Origins nor am I personally paid by any other company that I review their products. I did have a really positive experience with Origins Plantscription so much so that I spent my own money to buy mother her own bottle for Mother’s Day!
Any difference between this and their white tea serum which I religiously use?
