Nelson J Launches New Brazilian Hair Masque
Creates All-Natural Product To Repair Dry, Damaged Hair
and Restore Shine and Manageability.
Just in time for summer, celebrity colorist and stylist Nelson Chan, introduces an at-home Brazilian Hair Masque containing Açaí Oil to deeply moisturize dry, damaged hair, as well as soften and tame frizzy, unruly hair.
“The Nelson J Brazilian Hair Masque is a healing and restorative product that is extremely intense but easy to use at home,” explains Nelson Chan, owner of the new Nelson J salon in Beverly Hills . It infuses much-need moisture back into the hair, repairing damaged hair and leaving the cuticle sealed for longer-lasting smoothness, without leaving hair oily or heavy. It also restores twice the amount of shine to hair, and is great for color protection because it’s gentle. It’s a must-have product for women who have unruly, curly or frizzy hair, or else who have dry, damaged, or chemically-treated hair. In addition to being all-natural, it is free of parabens, sulfates and silicone. It contains the nutritious Açaí Oil.” Açaí is a native palm from Brazil ’s Amazonian region and is rich in phytosterols, anthocyanins, essential fatty acids, vitamins and fibers. This new Masque is an at-home version of the signature Brazilian Conditioning Treatment at Nelson J, where moisture is infused into hair in combination with a powerful salon dryer, and finished with a sip of the salon’s delicious Açaí Elixir.
How to Use:
“After shampooing, squeeze excess water from hair,” explains Chan. “Apply a quarter-size amount of Masque, massaging into hair from roots to ends, then comb through with a wide tooth comb. Leave it on for at least 5 minutes, then rinse and style as usual.” Chan recommends using it at least every time after shampooing the hair.
Summertime Protection:
“To protect hair from chlorine and salt water, apply the Brazilian Hair Masque on damp hair from roots to ends, prior to entering the pool or ocean. Rinse hair out after swimming.” Not tested on animals, the Brazilian Hair Masque retails at the salon and online at www.nelsonjbeauty.com, the Brazilian Hair Masque contains Shea Butter and Safflower Oil, in addition to Açai Oil.
With a diverse group of clients who range from modern busy executives, hurried socialites, time-deprived industry regulars, stay-at-home moms, to celebrities who expect “camera ready“ results in a minimum of time, the Nelson J Salon also offers house calls on request. It is located at 350 N. Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills.
What We Think: I love this stuff! My hair is really sensitive to pool water and it takes days to recover moisture back into my hair after swimming.
The other day I put this stuff in my hair, went in the pool several hours later, and when my hair dried I was amazed that it wasn’t a frizz bomb!! This masque made my hair smoother and silkier than it’s ever been. Totally amazing!

I bought this product and I like it. I also went to the salon last month and had the treatment but I have no idea what the Acai Elixir is because the stylist did not use that. He put on something called conditioning sealer. Why didn’t the person at the salon put in the acai elixir? What is the acai elixir? Is it available for purchase?
