This is perfect for a woman on the go, it allows her to reduce the appearance of their scars while also protecting their skin from the sun’s harmful rays since it contains SPF 30 (2-in-1). The new Mederma Cream + SPF 30 provides the same therapeutic ingredients as original Mederma, but is now available in a moisture-rich cream formula that also offers protection from sun exposure, which can cause scar discoloration. Mederma reduces the appearance of old and new scars resulting from surgery, injuries, burns, acne and stretch marks. Mederma Cream + SPF 30 will be available in the 50-gram (SRP $30.50) and 20-gram (SRP $18.50) sizes at food, drug and mass stores nationwide beginning in March 2008.
I recently had a sun spot excised from my left arm. It left a huge pit in my arm that I was really unhappy about. So as soon as I didn’t have an open wound anymore, I started applying the new Mederma 2-3x a day. I’ve been using it now for about 2 months maybe and it really has helped the appearance of my scar. It’s still not as smooth as I would like it to be, but I don’t think that’s because of the Mederma. I have to go back to the doctor soon to have them look at it again. I will update you on this later.
You have to be really religious about to see results though. So if you are going to use it, make sure you put it on every day and make a habit out of it!
